a brief update on myself with a couple of pictures

the web team is no longer with IT but we’ve merged with print and prance about under the title marketing. with the new department we got to move out of the 2′x2′ hole to a nice spacious office with multiple room! wwwhhhoooooooo this is actually really old news, but i wanted to put this picture up b.c i find it so……robin and dan. gotta love the silly european and sporadically hyper ex-raver.

the onething regionals are starting up, and with that means lots and lots of promo material! a little hectic, a little overwhelming, and rather exciting to see your ideas being flushed into reality. i was overly giddy when i saw the onething logo the first time. i don’t think joel hartke knew what to do with me. and of course it’s been an absolute blast working with steve offutt. by far one of the nicest guys around. haha and incredibly patient as i stand about deer in the headlights thinking “uh…….what should we do………arm up? no….arm down. uh……can he look into the sun without squinting? no? uh……”

so this is my dog Mr. Darcy (from the book, not the movie) he was all cute and fluffy but needed some grooming. so i took him in (let’s just say the shop’s name rhymes with jetco) and said “trim.” misunderstanding me (somehow?) they chopped his hair off with, as far as i can tell, a rusty machete. i now have an awkward looking canine that shivers every time he does his business b.c these missouri winters sure are cold especially when you have to go out naked.

ah yes. this is jam worth getting.
“A bespoke labellng system for a cottage industry that makes seasonal jams, marmalades and chutneys. We (aka. Company) created a label for each ingredient (defined by the ingredient colour) and months of the year, to reflect the fact that recipes and ingredients change with the seasons.”
this london based firm definitely has some clever work

kent rogowski’s bears project i love. basically took the bears, turned them inside out and restuffed. all the stuff that was hidden is now exposed.
hrm…..does this sound familiar to anyone? IHOPers? anyone want to join me on this? b.c i gotta say, i feel like this poor sucka. except less cute and intriguing. just tragically jacked up.
